
Dr. Jakub Kłącz, MD, PhD, is a board-certified urologist with more than 13 years of clinical experience. He graduated from the Medical University of Gdańsk and completed his specialist training in Urology at the Department of Urology of the University Clinical Centre in Gdańsk.
In 2016, he obtained board certification in Urology and was awarded the prestigious Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) title, a distinction recognizing excellence in urological practice and expertise at the European level. Following his specialist training, he continued his clinical and academic career at the University Clinical Centre, serving as both a senior specialist and university lecturer.
Dr. Kłącz earned his PhD in 2017 with research focused on prognostic molecular markers in patients undergoing nephrectomy for kidney cancer. He has authored and co-authored more than 70 scientific publications in the fields of urology, uro-oncology, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic surgery, published in internationally recognized medical journals.
Throughout his career, he has actively participated in numerous international scientific meetings, congresses, and educational programs across Europe, North America, and Australia. His professional development includes advanced training at renowned institutions such as ORSI Academy in Belgium, IRCAD in France, Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón in Madrid, the Royal College of Surgeons of England in London, and the University of Cambridge.
Since 2021, Dr. Kłącz has served as an international proctor and trainer for the CMR Versius robotic surgical system. In this role, he trains surgeons in advanced robotic techniques used in the treatment of prostate cancer, kidney cancer, and other complex urological conditions. In 2022, he joined the University of Cambridge as a faculty member and became an instructor within the internationally recognized Lapco School of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery.
His main areas of expertise include reconstructive urology, functional urology, prosthetic urology, and uro-oncology. Dr. Kłącz is among the few specialists in Poland performing advanced penile reconstruction procedures, penile prosthesis implantation, testicular prosthesis implantation, and artificial urinary sphincter surgery. He also specializes in the treatment of urethral strictures, erectile dysfunction, male urinary incontinence, and complex genital reconstruction.
In his daily clinical practice, he diagnoses and treats a wide range of urological conditions, including prostate diseases, kidney and bladder cancer, testicular cancer, urinary stone disease, urinary tract infections, male infertility, and sexual health disorders. He performs outpatient procedures as well as advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.
Dr. Kłącz is an active member of the Polish Urological Association (PTU), European Association of Urology (EAU), American Urological Association (AUA), and International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM). He also serves as a reviewer for several international scientific journals in the fields of urology, oncology, and medical genetics.
His procedural expertise includes vasectomy, circumcision, foreskin reconstruction, frenuloplasty, penile enhancement procedures using hyaluronic acid, genital rejuvenation treatments, penile and testicular prosthesis implantation, artificial urinary sphincter implantation, reconstructive surgery of the penis and scrotum, urinary stone surgery, and advanced minimally invasive treatment of urological cancers using laparoscopic and robotic techniques.
