What does lip lift involve?
Lip lift shortens the distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip, gently lifting the lip and making its red part more visible. The most commonly used technique is bullhorn — the incision runs in the natural skin crease under the nose, so after healing the scar is well hidden.
Lip lift and hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid increases lip volume, while lip lift works differently — it changes the position of the upper lip and improves proportions. It is a good solution when further filler augmentation no longer gives a natural effect or may lead to an “overfilled” look. During the first few days, the mouth area should be protected; excessive facial expressions, intense physical activity, and sun exposure of the scar should be avoided.
