What is penile enlargement with autologous fat?
Penile lipofilling is a procedure within aesthetic urology that transfers the patient's own fat tissue in order to increase penile girth. The material is harvested from areas with a natural fat reserve — most often the abdomen or thighs — and, after purification, injected under the skin of the penis.
The advantage of this method compared with synthetic fillers is that the body does not treat its own tissue as a foreign material, which reduces the risk of immune reactions. The outcome depends on individual predisposition — some of the transferred fat cells may be resorbed during healing. The extent of this resorption varies between patients.
How is the procedure performed?
The procedure consists of two stages carried out during the same visit:
- Fat harvesting (liposuction) — from a previously agreed donor area (most often the abdomen or thighs) the doctor harvests fat tissue using a cannula. This stage is performed under local anaesthesia or sedation.
- Processing and injection of the fat — the harvested tissue is purified and prepared, then injected under the skin of the penis using specialist cannulas. The doctor distributes the material aiming for an even result.
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis — the patient does not require hospitalisation. Its duration depends on the extent of the procedure and is determined individually during the consultation.

- avoiding intense physical exertion during the first weeks,
- regular check-ups allowing healing and graft stabilisation to be assessed,
- following the doctor's individual instructions on hygiene and care.
