What does the procedure involve?
The procedure involves injecting a hyaluronic acid preparation into the tissues of the penis in order to increase its girth. Hyaluronic acid is a resorbable substance naturally present in the body and well tolerated by tissues. The procedure is outpatient and performed under local anaesthesia — without incisions or hospitalisation.
The increased volume is visible immediately after the procedure. Temporary swelling may occur over the following days; once it subsides, the result stabilises. The procedure does not change the length of the penis — it affects girth only.
Who is this procedure for?
The procedure is considered by men who want to increase penile girth using a non-surgical method — without implants and without the need to harvest their own tissue. The doctor discusses the preferred method with the patient during consultation, taking into account expectations, anatomy and any risk factors. A qualifying consultation is required before every procedure.
Results and duration
The increase in penile volume is visible immediately after the procedure. The result stabilises once temporary swelling subsides — usually within a few days. What are the risks of hyaluronic acid in the intimate area?
Hyaluronic acid is a resorbable material, biologically similar to substances naturally present in the body, which reduces the risk of reactions compared with synthetic materials. Possible complications — swelling, bruising, local irregularity — are discussed by the doctor during the qualifying consultation. The procedure is performed only after an individual assessment of indications and contraindications.
When can I return to activity and sexual intercourse?
Light everyday activities can usually be resumed relatively soon after the procedure. It is recommended to avoid intense physical exertion for 5–7 days and to abstain from sexual intercourse for about a week — the doctor sets precise recommendations individually.
How does this method differ from lipofilling and PLLA?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a resorbable filler — the effect is reversible and requires neither harvesting your own tissue nor surgery. PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid) acts as a longer-lasting biostimulator. Lipofilling (autologous fat) requires harvesting your own fat tissue but eliminates the risk of a reaction to synthetic material. Each method has different indications — the choice is discussed by the doctor during consultation.
